LAHORE (Web Desk) - An AI robot has been developed in Pakistan to assist children on the autism spectrum.

This AI robot is designed in such a way that it understands the needs of autistic children and provides social support to them in every possible way. The AI robot is capable of assisting autistic children in communication and enhancing cognitive abilities.

This innovative robot has been developed by Pakistani tech start-up 'Haprow', and this AI robot has been named ‘Tim Tim’. Haprow aims to develop such robots by using medical, health, and engineering technologies to create an inclusive and diverse environment for all people.

This AI robot is exclusively designed in Pakistan, but some parts have been imported.

The CEO of Haprow, Muhammad Ali Abbas, asserts that Tim Tim is more than a robot; he’s a friend as well as a caretaker of children on the autism spectrum. Autistic children can learn and communicate with robots.

This robot can walk and talk with children. However, robots can communicate only in two languages: Urdu and English.

Several countries, including America, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, have shown keen interest in the purchase of this sophisticated robot. The Pakistan-made AI robot will be ready to be exported next year.
